Making Waves

Welcome to the WWU Waterski Alumni Foundation!

Our Mission

The WWU Waterski Alumni Foundation exists to support current and future athletes. Our primary focus now is to fundraise for a new waterski boat, and equipment for the team. Our boat, a 2001 Infinity ZX-1 Is slowly dying, as it has well over 3,000 hours. In order to stay competitive with other teams, we need to invest in a more modern, and more reliable boat. Our end goal is to fundraise enough money to continue the development of the WWU Waterski team.

The History

Since 1991 the WWU Waterski team has been skiing in Bellingham. In recent years, WWU has consistently earned spots at both regional and national tournaments, showcasing the dedication and growth of our team. One of our proudest achievements includes winning the 2015 NCWSA Division II National Championship in Houston, Texas. We continue to build on that legacy as we train new skiers, develop competitive athletes, and foster a strong, supportive team community.

The Ripple Effect

Your contribution to the new waterski boat campaign directly impacts the team's ability to train, compete, and represent WWU. It's an investment in student-athletes, their success, and the future of collegiate waterskiing.
